Setup

Permissions LastClip needs.

LastClip needs macOS Screen Recording permission to capture your display. Microphone access is only needed if you enable microphone audio. Clips are saved locally under your Movies folder. Paid builds also need license activation before saving clips.

Install flow.

Download the LastClip DMG, open it, drag LastClip to Applications, then launch it from Applications or Spotlight.

Requires macOS 14 or newer

Default hotkey Option-Command-R

First save.

Grant Screen Recording permission, relaunch if macOS asks, let the buffer warm, then press Option-Command-R. Clips save to Movies / LastClip.

Clip folder ~/Movies/LastClip
