These terms explain AskFrank's educational home maintenance guidance and subscription boundaries.

AskFrank can help with ordinary home-care decisions, but it is not a licensed professional, emergency service, or substitute for qualified repair work.

What AskFrank does

  • AskFrank helps homeowners with maintenance reminders, basic home-care education, private residential photo troubleshooting, home notebook organization, repair supply suggestions, and safety boundaries.

Educational guidance only

  • AskFrank is not a licensed contractor, inspector, structural engineer, plumber, electrician, HVAC technician, mold remediator, roofer, emergency service, medical provider, legal advisor, or financial advisor.
  • You are responsible for deciding whether a task is safe for you to perform.
  • AskFrank does not guarantee that its guidance will diagnose every problem, prevent damage, or make a repair safe.

No liability for home repair outcomes

  • Home repair and maintenance work can cause injury, property damage, or code violations if done incorrectly.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, AskFrank and its developer are not liable for injuries, property damage, failed repairs, incorrect parts, code violations, financial loss, or other harm resulting from actions you take based on app guidance.

Subscriptions

  • AskFrank Plus is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple's App Store.
  • The current launch plan is AskFrank Plus Yearly with a 3-day free trial and $39.99 per year in the United States.
  • Pricing may vary by region and may change over time. Apple handles billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment methods.

Retailer links and supplies

  • AskFrank may suggest repair supplies or provide search links to retailers such as Amazon, Home Depot, and Walmart.
  • These links are for convenience. You are responsible for verifying exact fit, safety, compatibility, price, availability, and whether a part or product is appropriate for your home.

App Store terms

  • If you download AskFrank from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a custom EULA is provided in App Store Connect for your region.
